Classroom Course Outline – 3 Continuing Education Hours

Course description/abstract:

This 3 hour classroom session will cover the National Association of Realtors Realtor Safety Presentation and original content from Friendly Inspector, Inc. We will discuss safety at the office, with our clients and at home. We will go over some high-risk situations and how to deal with them or avoid them altogether. Incorporating the covered tips into your daily routine and making them part of the way you do business can make you safer.

Goal:

Upon completion of this class, students will be able to effectively implement covered tips into their business and everyday life. This will help keep students and the people they are with safer while doing business in the real estate industry.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of the course students will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of:

ü  Safety concerns that are unique to the industry

ü  Safety at the office, with our clients and at home

ü  Our responsibility for protecting our clients’ belongings and personal information

Actions we can take to incorporate safety awareness into our personal and professional lives
